1. WHO WE ARE ImmoEx is a Chrome extension for AI-powered property analysis, operated by Can Baykal Özkaya ([email protected]).

2. WHAT DATA WE COLLECT

Account data (authenticated users only):

• Full name and email address, provided at registration or via Google Sign-In
• Password (stored as a one-way hash — we cannot read your password)
• Google account ID (if you sign in with Google)

Usage data:

• URLs of property listings you analyse
• Property titles and prices from listings you analyse
• Number of analyses performed
• Last active timestamp

Local browser data:

• Analysis results stored in your browser's local storage
• Client records you create in the portfolio feature
• Your preferences (language, dark mode)

Property listing content:

• Text and images from property listing pages are temporarily processed for AI analysis. This content is not permanently stored on our servers.

3. WHAT DATA WE DO NOT COLLECT

• We do not collect your browsing history
• We do not track which websites you visit outside of the listing you explicitly analyse
• We do not collect financial information or payment details
• We do not collect GPS location or precise location data
• We do not record keystrokes, mouse movements, or screen activity

4. HOW WE USE YOUR DATA

• To provide AI property analysis through the Anthropic Claude API
• To back up your analyses and client records to your secure account
• To authenticate your session and manage your subscription
• To track usage against your plan limits

5. THIRD-PARTY SERVICES

Anthropic (Claude AI API): Property listing text and images are sent to Anthropic's Claude API to generate analysis results. Anthropic's privacy policy applies: https://www.anthropic.com/privacy

Google OAuth: If you sign in with Google, Google authenticates your identity and shares your name and email with us. Google's privacy policy applies: https://policies.google.com/privacy

6. DATA SHARING We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties except as described above (Anthropic for AI processing, Google for authentication). We do not use your data for advertising purposes.

7. DATA RETENTION

• Account data is retained until you request deletion
• Analysis logs are retained for up to 12 months
• You may request deletion of all your data at any time

8. YOUR RIGHTS (GDPR) If you are located in the European Union, you have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you
• Request correction of inaccurate data
• Request deletion of your data
• Object to processing of your data
• Request a copy of your data in a portable format

9. DATA SECURITY

• Passwords are stored using bcrypt hashing and are never readable
• All data transmission uses HTTPS encryption
• Access tokens are unique per user and can be revoked at any time

10. CHILDREN'S PRIVACY ImmoEx is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

11. CHANGES TO THIS POLICY We may update this policy. The "Last updated" date at the top will reflect any changes. Continued use of the extension after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
